My wild controversial opinion is that we do, actually, owe it to strangers to take basic precautions and engage in actions that ensure the safety and well-being of others, to make the world accessible and non-hostile and easy to navigate.

Same here, yesterday I had time to sew and post and today I need to run around and do errands. Nothing as fraught as a kid's doctor's visit - I hope the appt is fuss-less and pain free.
