Nova Scotia is currently highly vulnerable to forest fire. Citizens face fines of $25K for simply walking through the woods.

Yet, NS is still permitting industry activity, including aerial glyphosate spraying. Not only is this a massive double standard it is incredibly risky & short-sighted!

The squeezing out of children from public space didn’t just happen - it reflects choices we’ve made, as a society, over the past 100 years to prioritise traffic, to stigmatise children’s and young people’s outdoor play, to erode domestic economic security, to commercialise play etc etc etc.

Asia Pulp and Paper has a notorious track record.
The Liberal government ignored all the warning signs that APP was making a play for our forests through Paper Excellence.
Now the mask has come off and they control 22 mil hectares of Canadian forests.

'We got completely played for suckers,' MP says of recent takeovers in Canadian forestry | CBC News
Opposition MPs are aghast that after buying up two major Canadian companies, the foreign owner of one of Canada’s biggest forestry businesses is now also formally taking over an Indonesian-Chinese pulp and paper conglomerate from his family — a company he has long denied operating in tandem with.

Apparently, when searching for a sperm donor, there's an option to screen for Jeff Goldblum (Young) look-a-likes.
