I got in my car yesterday and this started playing on Bluetooth. Just puppy foster things!! The pups listen to a lot of music, audiobooks, and desensitization playlists 😂

Newt got to work on her brewery dog skills this evening and it was a success. Ate some dinner and had a beer while there was live music, and some people walking around. It wasn’t very busy so it was good for her to not feel too overwhelmed. She ended up falling asleep under the table 🥹

the hallowed hounds have had a busy couple days! My neighbors visited them yesterday and today my friend came by with her son. Even at so young an age the puppies are benefiting from these visits. I can already tell very individual personalities and love seeing them interact with new people.

but after just about 10 minutes of us walking around there was a noticeable change in her body language which you can see in this video.

Newt had the day off today but yesterday I brought her to my parents’ house to roam their backyard. No other dogs or people around, just her getting to freely explore. In this video you’ll see how nervous and timid she was at first,

she even took treats from a wild turkey (my nephew) 😂🦃 All in all it was a really positive experience for her. We’re finding our way back to the pup she used to be!

so it was a great experience for Newt. We were able to observe the chaos and realize it’s not scary! She made a new baby friend that she LOVED. She kept approaching him all in her own with her tail wagging and wanting to give him kisses.

adventures with Newt! yesterday we drove to my sister’s house & walked to her neighborhood playground. Newt did such a great job walking next to the stroller, which can be a little intimidating. The playground had some commotion with kids coming & going, swinging, sliding, running, etc.

yesterday was the first time Newt played with a toy since being back. She’s a playful girl this morning too! It’s so good to see her get her puppy spark back 🥹

after that we sat outside to do some people watching away from the crowd (and the full band). Newt had amazing manners and sat by my side or under the table with no complaints! It was a really good outing for this girl, she’s starting to gain her confidence back a little more everyday!
