Want to fix your broken circadian rhythms? Step 1: read my friend @lynnepeeps.bsky.social's book out in less than a week!! I was fascinated, surprised and amused on every page. Best of all, I’m thinking much more about getting sunlight in my mornings and living in harmony with nature 🌞🌼🔬

Interesting findings on how policymakers refer to scientific articles in their reports.

US adults have lost less confidence in scientists than in business people and other professionals. But many question whether scientists can overcome their biases.

I am so ready for more in-person meetings! But then I see studies that virtual scientific meetings can be easier to attend—for women, for non-U.S. scientists, for many groups. I dove into how much better virtual might be for diversity. Here you go! doingsciencejustice.substack.com/p/im-celebra...

So, hey, who needs a climate change/science reporter or editor with 15+ years of experience and a long record of publication in dozens of outlets for staff or freelance work?
Welp, the place I never applied to work but ended up at when it bought my previous employer is going away.

I took a women's studies course for sociology credit years ago at University of Florida. It was one of the most thought-provoking classes of undergrad.
I guess that's just the kind of thinking the FL Board of Governors wants to stomp out 📚🎓

Chewing on this piece about how recruiting locally could help diversity in science. I hadn't thought much that (multiple) moves for science training could hold some back. Moving was a big perk of science to me--but I was lucky to have the freedom + funds for that 🧪
