Hell, the run of Force Awakens, Rogue One and Last Jedi was the best Star Wars had ever been.
But, for some unknown reason, folks completely cooked their brains and the franchise and fandom went to complete crap.

You know what. This movie was alright.

I enjoy (not really) the way Avatar sends whole sections of Era users absolutely mental.
Getting madder and madder as they stew over every word from Cameron’s mouth, every review score and every billion made at the box-office.
Meanwhile, blue cat folk are really neat! I’ll watch more.

It’s like, yeah, hard act to follow considering how genre defining the first two movies were. Gets a little saggy when it has to fulfill legacy sequel duties. But I still think highly of it.
Some banger action and some knowing nods at the baddie being a border agent.

Of course, I do balk a little at just how cuddly they made the terminator in T2. Can’t get too mad, but the vibes of the first movie are untouchable.
Also, shout out to Dark Fate. I’ll watch that tomorrow. Only other terminator worth A damn

Got so amped playing Terminator 2D, I had to stop the game and go watch Terminator 2.

Instead of getting frustrated at how hard the "Monsterverse" fell off a cliff after Kong: Skull Island, I'll just watch Pacific Rim instead.
Somewhat coincidentally, I had watched the last Godzilla x Kong movie.
Compared to these originals, it might as well be a FMV game.
Nothing looked or felt like it took place in a physical reality. Everything studio lit and long periods of time with only CG on screen.
