Probably the most pragmatic tip I can offer to #TTRPG folks is to just create what you love. Everyone can spot a phony. You come across those all the time in the space. Everyone just notices and moves on.
The folks who create content derived from passion tend to stick around and be noticed.

one reason i'm compelled by the (tabletop) RPG as an art form is how close the creator is to the intended audience. we have players rather than a viewer.
in fiction/movies, the auteur displays someone else's choices to make a point. in a RPG, I can set up a place for you to grapple w that choice..
