I can't trust politicians who are anti-trans. Not because I'm "only searching for perfection" which is what centrists will be accusing me of for the rest of my life, it's because if you're not pro-trans you'll be garbage on lots of other issues too. Being anti-trans NEVER exists in a vacuum.

It seems to me that OpenAI should be paying billions to Disney for the use of their characters, not the other way around. Feels literally backwards in where the value in the deal is. Either way though, I hate it.

I'm rewatching 'The Wizard of Oz' from 1939 and on the way to kill the Wicked Witch after leaving Oz the Scarecrow just has a freakin' gun. LOL. I did NOT remember that!

It looks like a Munchkin-sized gun, judging by the trigger. Who knew the Munchkins were carrying guns with their lollipops?

ALL SOULS EVE (2024)

With leaves starting to fall and temperatures cooling, the color patterns on this scrap of canvas shifted me right into the Halloween spirit. 1/2
Against a dark, abstract backdrop, a redheaded beauty poses surrounded by ghastly faces, but she seems more conjuror than captive. Her knee is raised as if she’s springing upward. Cobwebs stretch behind her and swirl around her upraised hand. A gray bat flies off from her abracadabra flourish. The sorceress is bare-chested wearing long white skirts with a red and yellow belt that dips in a V. The bottom of her skirts blend with creatures at the bottom of the panel, a transition from ghostly white to tormented gray. The background is pure hellscape that suggests perhaps a gnarled tree or the infernal stone of a cave. On closer examination, it seems to be made of twisted souls. Orange background show through at the panel edges, criss-crossed by tendrils, cobwebs or what have you but still providing a vibrant pop of color.

We’re 2 days away from Halloween! I think I would have preferred drawing a scary scarecrow instead of a jolly one, again not really my wheelhouse, but I think he’s jolly enough for the task. I got to use some brand-new inks with this one.
