Steven Spielberg doesn’t make many movies nowadays, but he remains my favourite director and has directed more of my favourite films than any other filmmaker.

Disclosure Day is my most anticipated film of next year, let’s hope it’s a good one!

Rob Reiner. A great director, brilliantly funny actor, all round nice guy. Taken in truly tragic circumstances.

Won’t even comment on the truly despicable post from Trump about his death. I’ll just remember RR’s films, his compassion, his humanity. A beacon of hope in a cruel world.

The Nightmare Before Christmas is something only Tim Burton could come up with. It’s a movie that reminds us of the simple joys of the festive season- and God knows we need them in the world right now:

A ★★★★ review of The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
As the Christmas season approaches, and with so much negativity going on, it can be hard to remember why it’s such a magical time of year. It comes around so quickly and has become so commercialised i...

What is this obsession with infantilising Norris? The FIA President ruffled his hair, now a post like this suggesting he doesn’t realise his talent. Norris is self critical, he’s not clueless. He wasn’t the best driver in 2025 but he got himself across the line.
Maybe now Lando Norris will realise just how good he is.

I’m sure this won’t be controversial at all. I’ve reached the most divisive film in the saga in my Star Wars rewatch, 2017’s The Last Jedi. And, well, it’s a hard one to talk about:

A ★★ review of Star Wars: The Last Jedi (2017)
Star Wars Saga Rewatch  Has there ever been a film that divided a fan base like Star Wars: The Last Jedi?. To some, it’s a masterpiece, a brilliant take on a beloved franchise. To others, it’s an insu...

Reading Daniel Craig’s comments about playing James Bond, it strikes me as odd he didn’t just turn the part down to begin with. Any actor who plays that character should be aware of how it will impact them, there’s no need to be egotistical about it. Makes me even madder they dropped Pierce Brosnan

Good on Daniel Day-Lewis to come to Paul Dano’s defence after Tarantino acted like a bellend. QT really should learn to put a sock in it sometimes. Great filmmaker, massive dipstick.

Journalists trying to bait Verstappen about the incident in Spain costing him the title.

Consider this- had McLaren not swapped their drivers around at Monza, Verstappen would have taken the championship by 1 point, which includes Norris passing Antonelli in Qatar.

No word on that I bet!

Abu Dhabi:

- Verstappen rounded off a sensational campaign with a well-earned victory

- Mexico/Brazil sealed the deal for Norris

- Hulkenberg quietly getting points in Sauber’s last race

- Hamilton needs a reset… and quickly

- Still an awful circuit for the finale, a dreadful race all round
December 7, 2025 at 4:21 PM
Apparently this is the confirmed race result for Abu Dhabi:

1st, 2nd, 3rd: Verstappen, Piastri, Norris

11th-15th: Bortoleto, Bearman, Sainz, Tsunoda, Antonelli

16th-20th: Albon, Hadjar, Lawson, Gasly and Colapinto

Verstappen is going to lose the title by just two points. After being 104 points back after Zandvoort, that’s a phenomenal fight back.

This has been an absolute snorer of a race, befitting a season that promised so much and delivered little. Well done Lando but 2025 is a damp squib.

Sky need a massive change up for their F1 team next year. Brundle has become as biased as Crofty and some of their commentary this season has been bordering on pathetic.
December 7, 2025 at 1:57 PM
Is it just me, or are Crofty and Brundle being particularly unbearable today? I’m finding them quite nauseating.
December 7, 2025 at 1:51 PM
I’m sorry this is getting embarrassing from Brundle and Crofty. Both drivers were in the wrong.
December 7, 2025 at 1:41 PM
Leclerc and Russell are being feisty tonight. And Norris is nearly 25 seconds behind Verstappen.
December 7, 2025 at 1:36 PM
Verstappen did what Norris did to him in Vegas, except this time it worked for the pole sitter.
December 7, 2025 at 1:11 PM
Leclerc is all over the back of Norris for third. A drop to fourth hands advantage to Verstappen.
December 7, 2025 at 1:10 PM
Verstappen has the most experience of the three title challengers, and arguably the most advantage in track position as well.

After Hungary, the fact we have a three way fight is incredible, even if I’m anticipating a fairly uneventful last round. #AbuDhabiGP

Analysis revealing just how good Verstappen’s pole lap was. Absolutely pushing his car to the limit, especially at turns 1 and into the first chicane.

5th gear through the high speed banked corner, spot on braking under the hotel. A magnificent pole position.
