Where we used to live there were always vehicles overhanging onto the pavement.
And most of the time the pavement was blocked by their cars.
It was a popular parking strategy and it continues.
Safe to park a few yards away but heavens above, they’d have to walk!

We lived next door to a school in Solihull for over 20 years.
The chaos was entirely caused by selfish drivers on said school run.
Parked where they liked and didn’t give two hoots about safety.
Parking control would turn up occasionally and this didn't work.
It got worse not better.

That’ll cost a bit to repair!
Miss the familiarity but not the traffic.

Haven’t seen one in years and here in rural Pembrokeshire, we haven’t got anything like that.
Closest MacD is a 90 minute round trip.
I’d have to be desperate to go there.
