From my earlier post I mentioned Marsin Bakery in Hockley Heath.
Sitting out front at the bakery was risky with the prospect of being squashed by a Range Rover or any vehicle that forgot where the brake pedal was.

Charged with dangerous driving and criminal damage.
Pick up truck driven through the plate glass into the MacLaren Dealership in Hockley Heath.
Opposite is Marsin Bakery and at least three times a week I would ride over for coffee, bread, pastries and a chat.
I do miss that bakery.

if you don’t need to go out……on the other hand if I braved it, and I will not, I’d get three PR’s on the way out of Eglwyswrw heading north for 10k.

A walk along the estuary and lunch at The Golden Lion Newport.
We got wet in the rain and as it’s so warm, a ride out would have been okay.

After another indoor session, Ruby was chomping at the bit to play outside with the tennis ball.

The Hunt Microspline free hub has arrived and a 12 speed cassette 10-45.
Thought I’d ordered the wider cassette 10-51 but, as the cassette is going on the 650b Adventure Wheels it’ll do.
HG hub off and new stuff fitted.
I can go chunky mad on these wheels if needed.

World Cup football was on the news.
I was at the final in the Rose Bowl and it was baking hot.
I didn’t mind heat back then but these days 90 degrees would kill me.
Probably hotter in the stadium. It was full 90k 🥵

I’m surprised it didn’t rain on today's Ruby walk.
Popped over to Parrog and the sun came out!
MrsZ is back in the Midlands for a couple of days otherwise I’d be out on my bike so thought, Ruby can sleep when we get back and I’ll head out for a couple of hours.

Very muddy lanes with more rain so it had to be a Rouvy session yesterday afternoon.
Easy start and the pace soon picked up to more like a TT with a few surges. 300 to 400 watts 🥵
30 mins @ 230watts to keep clear of the two chasers.
7 minutes behind the two leaders! New FTP
