Response to Rituximab as a Maintenance Therapy in Adult Idiopathic Nephrotic Syndrome: A French Multicenter Cohort Study

Relapses per patient and per year during the 2 years preceding and the 2 years following rituximab introduction. Five patients with unknown INS subtype were excluded from the analysis of MCD and FSGS patients. Three patients with unknown steroid-sensitivity were excluded from the analysis of SSNS and SRNS patients. Number of relapses per patient and per year are represented as mean +/- SD. FSGS, primary focal segmental glomerulosclerosis; MCD, minimal change disease; SRNS, steroid-resistant nephrotic syndrome; SSNS, steroid-sensitive nephrotic syndrome. ***: p < 0.001.

There was a fierce competition among the participants of the Best Poster Selection. The finalists were Leonie van Leeuwen, PhD, Alex Daniel, Rebecca Panconesi, Alexandre Hertig and Fayyad Jaradat.

A 𝐡𝐲𝐩𝐞𝐫𝐢𝐦𝐦𝐮𝐧𝐞 𝐚𝐜𝐮𝐭𝐞 𝐫𝐞𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 is a rejection of a transplanted graft within 48 hours after transplantation, owing to preexisting cytotoxic antibodies in the recipient that bind antigen on the graft, which leads to coagulation, ischemia, and necrosis.
