I'm a firm believer that a creative process should be free of time and logistics, but we have to stop viewing studios as golden children, just because we like their output, while there's smoke bellowing from an obvious fire. Game development is difficult, but Naughty Dog isn't an amateur studio.

Scrapping an expensive, high production live service game because of quality concerns, not producing a single original title in 5+ years, and mandating staff to crunch up to 60 hours per week for several weeks, right before the holiday break, is nothing short of catastrophic failure of management.
