The original way I did ramps from like a year ago was like this and it involved manipulating the vertexes of a polygon2d based on the world position, which at the time... the entire world was actually moving to create the parallax LMAO performance was AWFUL

took a while but for this new project i took the chance to rework the perspective on the playable character from top view to this one that i like more!

added a pseudo rim light to some of my shaders and i think it really helped with the silhouette of the tree branches especially!
overall, the environment seems to be more readable at night now ❛ ᴗ ❛)b
