We used to put in on at parties to try and make people leave. Had one friend sit through the whole thing and insisted on watching it in full every year afterwards. I seriously considered showing it at his memorial service last year.

One of my favorites is from David Cronenberg, who said Martin Scorsese was afraid to meet him, and DC replied “Really, you’re the guy who made Mean Streets.”
