Strangely some of the Trump voters I talk with don't seem to think he's rich. They think he's "one of them" and they're mostly blue collar folks. When I point out he's a New York maybe-Billionaire with a gold toilet they go "Oh, well, yeah I guess, but still..."

...a real doctor.

One real challenge here is if the AI can accurately discern if the user is having a serious mental health issue. Even human experts struggle there.

That's not a small problem, and those guardrails can be tricky to implement, but it feels like the right goal to me. #mentalhealth

Which brand of EV do you drive? Mine is a Ford Mach-E. It has the integrated nav, of course, but I tend to use Waze through Android Auto.

What's your favorite app for finding charging stations when you road trip?

As the battery tech improves EVs will also be more realistic for people in the gradually diminishing circumstances that they can't charge at home. If you can put 400+ miles of range in your EV in 15 minutes with affordable public charging it won't matter as much if you can't have a home charger.

...by the way, the road-trip exception is going to probably change fairly quickly, unless the current administration sabotages it. More and faster chargers are being deployed, and battery tech is improving for longer range and faster charge.

Yes, I just find it helpful to acknowledge that the edge cases exist up front. That tends to dilute the "You're wrong because I have to tow a 5-ton trailer 800 miles a day and I can't do that with a Chevy Bolt!"

Yep, I agree that for the average drivers an EV is a good choice. But I do recognize some people have situations that currently make it more challenging, so I'm loathe to make a blanket statement that "everybody" should get an EV. There are exceptions.

...have to tow heavy trailers pretty often, then you might not like an EV. If you don't have a convenient place to charge an EV then you might not like it, etc. etc.

For many/most people an EV is probably a good choice. For some people it isn't yet. One size rarely fits all.

...Ironically it also means I'm less likely to use it, because if it's the same as the M365 Copilot Chat in the browser or Microsoft 365 Copilot app, I might as well use the browser or app where I'm not constrained to a 2-inch-wide panel.
