This is great because a lot of people in real life don’t know about Jan 20. It seems to be an online idea at this point. I gave my employees the day off! I’m a good radical liberal scum.
Keep speaking out!

Several Canadian news orgs have already left X, but I believe @pressprogress.ca may be the first to adopt a policy setting standards around use of digital platforms

We think it's time news orgs stop prioritizing clicks and start requiring higher standards from these platforms

I believe Avi Lewis is the leader the NDP needs right now.

He’s someone who gives us hope, unites our movements, and offers bold, inspiring solutions to tackle affordability while upholding human rights without qualification or exception. (1/2)
A profound honour to have this endorsement from MP @leahgazan.bsky.social, one of our movement’s strongest and most principled leaders.

That is now 2 statements from Carney that have legitimized Trump's violent, extrajudicial overthrow & kidnapping of another country's leader.

Our prime minister looks more Neville Chamberlain than elbows up rn.

I spoke with María Corina Machado today. I affirmed Canada’s support for a peaceful, Venezuelan-led transition of power — one that respects the democratic will of the Venezuelan people.

THE FUCK.
WH sources say Venezuela's opposition leader committed the "ultimate sin": She accepted the Nobel Peace prize.

“If she had turned it down and said, ‘I can’t accept it because it’s Donald Trump’s,’ she’d be the president of Venezuela today,” one said.

Trump is weak at home, and he can be stopped – so long as the domestic political logic of foreign intervention is recognized and turned against him. This act of war is about regime change in the United States. It only succeeds if Americans allow it to do so.
