Here I am seeing dollar bottoming signals in mid July (that ended up being right). I'm seeing the opposite today.

There were also bearish candles that didn't fit the bill of bearish engulfing. Some opened low and kept falling. FXE, FXB, and FXF fall into that category. Finally the dollar bounced! I have it peeking its head above an important level with a bullish RSI divergence and a macd cross.

Are bearish engulfing candles forming on #gold, #silver, and #copper while the dollar moves higher and surprises nearly everyone with a move higher in the dollar?

I'm not commenting on reserve currencies, but I'll note that the Euro is destroying the dollar this year. I bought multiple tranches, sold it all 107.50-110, and after a bearish RSI divergence on the dollar, I'm considering re-entering FXE. Just sold 90% of my international hedged, to buy unhedged.
