We believe US military or intelligence personnel are operating at 24 sites in Britain at least -- more than successive governments have told parliament.

Help us find more information because the government is refusing to. See next post...

Surprise, surprise. Not. It's happened to me.
Do you remember when people were saying "I think my phone is listening to me, i'm getting ads for stuff I spoke about" and people said "They arent listening to you, they're just this good at predicting your interests"?

Well, it happens they were doing exactly that.

In 1970 the Government owned Energy, it owned Water, it owned Rail, it owned Mail, it owned Steel, it owned Shipbuilding, it owned Oil and Gas.

There was a 100% tax on these industries profits.

Now many of them pay 0% tax.

That is where all the money has gone.

Compare Nigel Farage's clueless party political broadcast, all about him, dressed like he's about to go on a grouse shoot, trying to be a normal guy, with the Greens broadcast featuring @zackpolanski.bsky.social

Your water bills are going up, again.

Why? Because private companies think you should pay the price for their negligence and greed.

It’s time to end the privatisation rip-off and bring water back into public ownership, now!

Marooned once again. All roads off the heath are flooded, some with stranded vehicles. I have never seen the flood levels so high in 10 years. Chandra dropped a lot of precipitation.

The whole point of democracy was for the majority to be in charge.

Instead we have politicians who do only what the 0.001% want.

This is a famous old poem, but, sadly, nothing has changed:

The law locks up the man or woman
Who steals the goose from off the common
But leaves the greater villain loose
Who steals the common from the goose.

In 1953 the US and the UK overthrew the last democratically elected leader of Iran, Mohammad Mosaddegh and installed the Shah. In '79 the same actors were involved in ousting the Shah and installing Khomeini. Now the same actors want another regime change, for the largest reserves of natural gas?
