CAHSR doesn't open for another 7 years! ppl traveling through the Central Valley still need transit options! The state should be beefing up bus service to get people in the habit of connecting to CAHSR, not cutting it.

And regardless of what alternative is ultimately chosen, the fact that regional agencies (SGVCOG and Metro) have to rely on a patchwork of cities to approve is not a recipe for an integrated bus network. The benefits are diffuse, but the costs, the costs are concentrated and, well, mostly illusory

We’re given BS reasons as to why they are not pursuing it. Low ridership numbers from the study are artificial bc there is no continuous bus service south of 120th. We need an completely new leadership in SB to make any progress.
