Odd one for SpaceX to have an explosion this early in the testing process. Even odder to see the booster still standing. That's helpful in the sense that this didn't ruin the test stand or nearby ground equipment. But this means more work before Starship V3 launches.

SpaceX's upgraded Starship suffers explosion during testing | TechCrunch
It may not have been a massive fireball, but SpaceX now has more work to do before it can kick off this next-generation version of Starship.

Lots of landmines ahead for Tesla before year-end.

1) California DMV lawsuit (Nov-26th?)
2) Delaware appeal ruling on Musk's $50bn bonus

The CA DMV is a "known known", but the Delaware ruling is a "known unknown", which could bite Tesla in the a$$.

Musk's "Interim Award" Could Wipe Out Tesla's Retained Earnings
If the Delaware Supreme Court upholds its lower court's ruling to nullify Musk's 2018 Grant, Musk's "Interim Award" of $24 billion kicks in and would be a 33% hit to Shareholders' Equity.

Tesla Q3 2025 California sales were down 9% YoY despite the huge rush for BEVs ahead of the Sept-30th expiry of the $7,500 tax credit.

The BEV market ex-Tesla grew by 29% YoY in Q3, causing Tesla's share of California's BEV market to drop from 57% in Q3 2024 to 48%.

If Musk is tweaking Grok this hard, who's going to invest in xAI?

Its real-time content gleaned from Twitter is the only edge it has in the LMArena. In any other usage category, xAI is irrelevant (so far).

Hard to believe that xAI is trying to raise $15bn at a $230bn valuation right now.

Unless Musk gets Secretary Duffy (whom he called "Sean Dummy") to bend the rules, Cybercab output is capped at 2,500.

If Tesla heeds FMVSS by putting a steering wheel & gas/brake pedals in the Cybercab, it'll be a bigger flop than the Cybertruck. Who buys 2-seaters?

Elon Musk Can’t Legally Sell The Tesla Cybercab As Promised
The billionaire CEO says the steering wheel-less, pedal-less Cybercab goes into production in April. But Tesla doesn’t have the regulatory exemption needed to sell it.

Proud guests of President Trump's dinner in honor of Mohammed Bin Salman, a slimebag with whom no normal person would eat dinner.

Aside from the guy who tries to hoard attention with his stupid shoes, which others in this pic will be indicted after Trump leaves the White House?

Outrageous!! 😡😡😡😡
In his futile attempt to justify Musk's $1 trillion pay package, this Musk fluffer overlooks:

-Musk's tax rate on his $450BN is only 2.5% so far.
-Tesla & SpaceX received $3.7BN of US subsidies & loans.
-SpaceX has $22BN in US govt contracts.
-Tesla has received $22BN in US ZEV/GHG/IRA credits.

Tesla's car biz (worth only $78 per share vs Tesla's current price of $402) is imploding.

Overseas sales in Oct were -33%, the lowest start of Q4 sales on record.

US EV sales at carmakers reporting monthly sales were -71% MoM & -49% YoY after Sept EV rush.

A Quick Look at How Bad Tesla's Start of Q4 Is
In all countries that report monthly Tesla sales (ex-North America), Tesla's October sales fell by 33% YoY to new lows since 2022's pandemic.

I think that more journalists need to look into this exchange between Musk and Epstein again.

It's a timely subject, and I'd bet a signed dollar bill that Musk wouldn't take kung fu lessons even if he received government subsidies to do so.

Let's hope things get tougher this time and $MS Adam Jonas meets karma.

It's so over for Tesla in China.

The Xiaomi YU7, a Model Y rival, not only outsold Tesla's Model Y in October, but it outsold Tesla's *total* October sales of 26,006 vehicles by 29%.

And this is through October with a refreshed Model Y and the new 3-row Model "YL".

China just extended its lending facility to Tesla by $2.38 billion last quarter.

Now he disses them right after getting his $1 trillion pay package approved.

Tesla shareholders are stupider than followers of Jim Jones.

This is true (and the WSJ breakdown is great) but I can’t stress enough how low a bar some of the milestones are compared to what Musk touted over the years.

He used to say Tesla would make 20M cars *per year by 2030*. Now he only needs to sell 20M by 2035 — and Tesla has already sold 8M!
easy to miss in the punditry about Musk's pay package:

he only becomes a trillionaire if he meets *a bunch* of milestones

payouts begin at $2 trillion market cap + other conditions

here's a handy graphic

This is a tweet from Omar Qazi, a high priest in the Musk Cult.

As recently as a few months ago, he said on a Twitter Space that he owns $250,000 worth of $TSLA and his parents own $2 million worth of $TSLA.

This, from a guy who also started a GoFundMe to fight against Aaron's lawsuit. 😂

It's nice to know that Elon Musk will also be selling $TSLA along with me. The only difference is that I'm using borrowed shares & he'll be selling his own. 😂

As with Tesla, Musk is driving down the brand value of his AI vanity project, xAI.

Musk has reprogrammed xAI's chatbot, Grok, many times over to increasingly resemble himself.

And like Musk, Grok's sense of humor is cringe.
