Sentimental Value is the best movie of the year.

Every actor was in his/her best.

The screenplay has so much depth that there can be some many interpretations of the plot.

More movies like this please.

If you need a mask to enforce the law, you don’t deserve a badge.
Federal agents are snatching people off the streets—faces covered, names hidden.
This isn’t safety. It’s secrecy.
It’s not America.

Those trying to understand the tariffs as economic policy are dangerously naive.

No, the tariffs are a tool to collapse our democracy. A means to compel loyalty from every business that will need to petition Trump for relief.

Every so often, it just comes back to me in full force. The political and economic order that allowed this man to come to power is obviously no longer tenable. The leaders who let it happen obviously have to be replaced. This is an epoch defining failure and we have to turn the page completely.

The Wisconsin statute is plain. You cannot offer anything of value to any elector to dissuade or induce them to vote. Period. It prohibits the same with respect to going to the polls for a particular candidate. There’s no innocent explanation for what Musk is doing now to get voters to the polls.

Congratulations @fetterman.senate.gov, you useless coward. Only Democratic Senator to not show up to support Cory Booker. I guess that's not a surprise, though, seeing as how you don't show up to support your constituents, either.

RESIGN, YOU SPINELESS TRAITOR.

The Booker thing is fine; good even. It's better than anything Senate Dems have done to date. If theyd be doing stuff like this and using unanimous consent and other objections to slow nominations from day 1 we'd be in a better place as a country.
