I've been here, it's a v bleak place with all the west side really flat but where all the stuff is, while the east is really hilly with very little in the way of even roads.

Uist gets a bit of a short straw as Barra to the south and Harris/Lewis to the north are both more "interesting" islands

I wasn't a linux guy until a few years ago having not really used it at all previously but total convert now. if you've got a modern PC and can follow instructions, its really good now (unless you want to play competitive games with anti cheat)
