It's fun to play with opposites. A lion is a "kingly" animal while Artie is a lowlife. Guillermo is a humble workhorse who is actually nobility. Artie is impulsive, lazy and talkative and Guillermo is deliberate, diligent and taciturn. I bet neither wants to admit how important the other is to him.
