The €200 billion/year Ukraine needs? Less than 1% of Europe's GDP. Frozen Russian assets in Europe? €300 billion.

"This is really a no-brainer," says the study's author euromaidanpress.com/2025/12/03/b...

Norwegian Institute of International Affairs and Corisk did the math Europe's politicians haven't.

Arm Ukraine to win: €522-838 billion. Let Russia win and rearm Europe: €1.2-1.6 trillion—double the cost. Plus 6-11 million additional refugees.

They imagine dividing Europe up between russian fascists and local (German, Italian, British etc) fascists who are friendly to an "America First" fascist US.

Just as Hitler and Stalin planned in 1939.

Do you hanker for the days of Franco?

Is that why you wish so hard that Europe were weaker, were even more divided, and were entirely controlled or subjugated by external autocracies?

Europe today reminds me of the old saying: "if you are not at the table, you are probably on the menu". Europe does need bigger clubs and to be at said table. Foremost France (UK too) needs to allow for wider nuke production and sharing. Otherwise its the US who owns Europe's biggest club

The Russian attack on Europe proved that peace through diplomacy or trade fails. Only peace through strength succeeds. Europe utterly failed to protect itself. Catastrophically.

Looking at how hesitant Europe and the UK were even as Germany took entire countries at the beginning of WW2, I would not be surprised if things have to get much much worse before Europe truly takes the Russian and Chinese threat seriously.

6/ Europe, in my view, should remain strong and become more assertive toward its adversaries. We have returned to a world where power is defined solely by those holding the biggest clubs. And if you don’t have big enough club - you will be someone’s breakfast

5/ I am not convinced the United States will navigate its political crisis without some form of violent outcome during the next presidential election, as one side has clear incentives not to relinquish power even if it loses, something that has already been attempted once.

3/ Predictably, other actors such as China and Russia now feel far more confident in their broader geostrategic positions, whether in Russia’s ability to reshape Europe’s security landscape or China’s growing dominance in the Pacific and occupation of Taiwan

2/ The processes we are witnessing, including the dismantling of the post-Cold War system, are unlikely to be reversible anytime soon, and a change in U.S. leadership in the coming years can’t not undo the damage that began during the DJT administration.

Sure. We never tried to kill Zelensky. Right after we said we'd never invade.

You should surrender NATO anyway. They have nukes and it's pointless to resist them.

Respectfully... most of you spent the Cold War on the other side of Iron Curtain from Ireland, and it shows.

You actually believe the Ruskies tried to assassinate Zelenskyy, failed, and then showed off to the Irish Navy instead?

Under what state-propagandised brain would that ever make sense.

You'd think us violating Irish neutrality in an apparent attempt to assassinate Zelensky by forcing his plane to crash would be bigger news.

For the Irish for a start.
