I would've continued to power-use and pay for Duolingo no problem, but their shift to AI was enough to kill any appetite towards ever using it again.
Duolingo announced it was going “AI-first” just over six months ago. Since then its stock is down 64%.

Valve (and Steam) operate as essentially a monopoly as a marketplace for buying games digitally. there are other marketplaces, but none with the name recognition and user base that even meets a fraction of what Steam has--they are in a market position where they make the rules.
I don't really understand this. Why are they acting like gatekeepers? First payment processors, now steam? Just let people sell things. Taking away choice is as anti-consumer as you can get.

SO... I'm pretty much done with Fortnite. There were statements made by Tim Sweeney saying that AI usage doesn't need to be disclosed, and then AI usage was found all over this current season- from art to sprays to in-game songs. Between that, and the upcoming shitty wizard collab... Yeah, I'm done.
