I have been having the same candy argument with @jeremylittau.com over like three different platforms. It’s amazing he’s so wrong on so many websites.
Y’all I’m really enjoying the pie discourse.

We have to do more ridiculous shit like this.

We can’t just torture ourselves and each other all day every day with trauma.

It’s good to sometimes have some silly fun and remember that happiness still exists and we should fight for more of it.

Going out in a limb with this take today but …

Pie is good.

All types of pie. Bring them all. They’re all fantastic.

Really important to stress that the Crown Jewels of the US higher education system were never the Ivies or elite SLACs (other countries have equivalents of these) but the well-funded, large, cheap, and excellently staffed public state university systems bringing high quality education to the masses.
One of the bragging rights that the US ed system had in the 20th century is that we didn't have education tracks. Essentially, any kid could go to a CC or state school & major in whatever they wanted to (obviously an oversimplification). I fear this aspect of the American dream is dying.

Hey remember when the Bills could have taken Xavier Worthy but they didn’t and they traded down to take Keon Coleman instead?

I swear, I feel the defense is constantly been ass in the first half, but then figure it out in the 2nd half. Like every game this year has been that way for the defense except NE/Jets

New at Sports Media Guy: It's easy to cover a game off TV. But there is real value in being at the stadium.

How a single paragraph in @bytimgraham.bsky.social's story teaches a valuable journalism lesson.

Reposting this. I'm just so disgusted by what used to be sports media. More interested in betting lines than player suicides. That's not a hot-take opinion. We have the data here. It's a fact.

He was calling for free expression in the Arab world. You can read it here :

So this ad revenue metric is indicative of such a fascinating and weird set of business decisions by Google to inexplicably kill of SEO-- and I honestly don't get how they think this is going to pay off for them in the long run.

This great piece from my friend @bytimgraham.bsky.social demonstrates the value of reporters being at the stadium, not covering from TV.

The TV broadcast never showed Coleman on the sidelines, didn't really mention him once.

Regular reminder that this guy, and the website he founded, are trash.
Dems didn't brand "white dudes" as the "bad guy" as Portnoy suggests. We branded people who support a toxic, hate-filled convicted felon who abuses women and lies constantly about everything as the bad guys, and they just happen to be disproportionately white men.
