endearing records, publishing and harm reduction emporium
@blairendearing.bsky.social
lapsed indie label & publisher, pharmacist in the dtes, dad, he/him, vegetarian: music, beer, beagles, harm reduction, autism, lover of condiments, sometimes delinquent reader and inordinately fond of ellipses...may be funnier in real life (or maybe not).
So long past the time for a clean and regulated drug supply. Anything else is just a waste of time, resources and ultimately lives.

Do you have a convenient link to what their investment portfolio is? Wandered through their site and some reports but couldn’t find anything with specifics…

(Our union has a pension meeting next month and it would be nice to share that).

Maybe if some of the police officers swarming the DTES/collecting OT/driving up our property taxes up could spare some time from tearing down tents and instead issue a few tickets we wouldn’t have pedestrians die and city services chopped.

I’ve had 2 patients who lost vision due to shingles and another who had a close call, seen nerve pain for 3+ months in other patients and now there’s literature documenting a bonus benefit of the vaccine reducing your chance of dementia.

My booster laid me out for a day. Thats an easy trade off.

I have no idea if this is true or urban legend but coworker related a story about fast food places changing their oil once a week and how they would only visit mcdonalds on a tuesday as that was fresh oil day.

Will add my opinion, saw them twice on the () tour and both shows were mind blowing - songs off that album were best experienced live and shared with 1500 other people in a theatre.

Saw them again once later on the takk tour and also enjoyed but had the worst head cold so it's more of a blur.

Here's the thing, though: There's joy in also just doing the nice thing for people! Accommodating those who don't "need" it isn't Letting Them Get Away With It — it's just being nice! If you must, it's being generous to them. That's okay, you're a generous person! Let yourself be okay with that.

It's very hard to understand that everyone should just be accommodated. There's enough to go around, truly. You've been sold a story that we're all scrabbling for some finite resource, and They are taking it from you, and the answer to that taking is systemic punishment, backed by systemic violence.

There was a thread from a prof on here who eliminated the time limits in her course and felt that it was fairer to her disadvantaged students and iirc did not pose an advantage to non disabled pupils.

Perhaps its like research now showing non adhd students taking stimulants actually do worse…
