Their constituents will not forget.
BREAKING: AOC on GOP bill:

“When you wake up in the morning, you will realize that you voted to defund planned parenthood and take away health care from 13.7 million Americans and when this country wakes up there will be consequences to pay for this.”

If the GOP Tax Scheme is so beautiful, then why are they voting on it in the wee hours of the morning? Maybe because it’s irredeemably ugly and cruel.

Are y’all seeing the AI-generated story about a summer reading guide with a list of non-existent books? Published by the Chicago Sun-Times! Sigh.

Good grief.
Senator Ron Johnson ( WI) responded when asked why he voted to take healthcare and food away from children;
“ I never felt it was societies responsibility to take care of other people’s children “

Dogs are my favorite.
This dog politely asked for a musician's drumstick in the middle of their performance. Always excited to find a fellow stick lover. 12/10

“Welcome in” is the latest linguistic phenomenon I’ve noticed. I hear it every time I enter a store or cafe, and just now I heard it from a news commentator for the first time (CBS news).

Pediatricians say that childhood vaccines are safe. A heroin-addled nepo baby with a brain worm says they may not be. For busy voters, it can be hard to know who to believe.

The oil industry buys off Congress. No action on climate.

The NRA buys off Congress. No action on guns.

Insurance companies buy off Congress. No action on health care.

The list goes on and on.

Money in politics is the root of our dysfunction.

I cannot overstate the importance of reading books, particularly novels by respected authors, for critical thinking skills and reading comprehension. If the big gun novelists don't interest you, start small and work your way up. Or read whatever interests you. Just read. Or listen. It's all books.

So pleased by the huge turnout at Saturday’s protest in Salt Lake City! It was encouraging to know that 10,000 people cared enough to show up.
