I don’t have much else to say that other respected colleagues haven’t already said—simply that from where I’m standing, doing street journalism in LA and beyond, that elitist access journalism is a stain on the profession and we will all be better off when it finally hits the dirt

I get that we’re dealing with witch trial logic here so introspection is off the table, but hoooooow is the pursuit of this flimsy assault charge to a jury trial not prohibitively embarrassing for the brave men and women of the WPD
