People are terrified of our government. This isn’t a healthy democracy.
You have to read this. Firsthand affidavit from one of the women who was there and recording the video. She talks about how Alex Pretti was directing traffic when she arrived. She watched him be killed in front of her. She's afraid to go home, worried she'll be arrested.

The problem with Trump stomp on Maduro isn’t the attack itself.
It’s what he gave away in exchange.
Europe.
Putin offered Trump a free hand in the Western Hemisphere if he gave away Europe.

I’ve been guilty of this too, but when I read people say, even though they’re trying to be nice, like “I disagree with Rob Reiner politically, but I am sad by his loss.”

Why do we always feel the need to talk about whether we agreed with somebody politically or not?

1/3Most remarkable thing abt SCOTUS majority is its combined arrogance & intellectual dishonesty. They are overturning constitutional understandings dating to 1800s & destroying modern US gov't in service of a THEORY - unitary executive - THEY invented & which by virtue of its very novelty is...
In the hearing on the Slaughter case, Justice Sotomayor noted that “Neither King, not parliament, not prime ministers ever had an unqualified removal power” but that is what unitary executive would grant.
Bears repeating how novel and radical this theory is:

Yes, and what if your access to affordable healthcare was considered a right guaranteed to everyone by the government and not a bauble of certain types of employment or friggin club store membership? What then?
Rand Paul on his healthcare plan: "What if you could join Costco? Costco has 44m members and if one person negotiated for all 44 and they bought a group plan like Toyota or General Motors does, they would be the largest collective entity in the country. They would drive prices down by sheer might."
