Finally finished a book after not having finished anything since mid-June. Glad to be out of my funk. Def late to the From Blood and Ash train, but it was pretty good. Continuing on to the next book in the series. #bloodandash #booksky

Next up, Broken Souls and Bones by LJ Andrews. Looks like a Nordic romantasy, enemies-to-lovers? My FairyLoot edition is gorgeous. #romantasy #booksky

The Games Gods Play 5⭐ based on wit and entertainment value alone. Favorite FMC in a long while. Boone deserves the world. Can't wait for the next one. #romantasy #booksky

The non-advertisement breaks during #WWE #SaturdayNight'sMainEvent are so fucking weird tonight. Are they just having a bunch of technical difficulties, delays, or what? I think I've seen more break time than fight time at this point. #wrestling

I just realized my issue with a recent read: the antagonists felt evil just for the sake of being evil. There was no deeper reason to their hunger for power, and in a modern setting, I expect more. Does that make sense? #booksky

50% through and Lyra Keres from The Games Gods Play is one of the most relatable FMC's.
✅ Uses sarcasm as a coping mechanism
✅ Literally can't shut up
✅ Inconveniently soft-hearted
✅ Attracted to tall, dark, mysterious men

Finished up Bloodmarked by @tracydeonn.bsky.social. 4.25⭐. Slower than Legendborn but with top tier banter. Snorted when Alice called Sel a wizard. Side characters continue to be true gems. Would still die for William. #booksky

The banter between Bree, Sel, Alice, and William is *chef's kiss* in Bloodmarked by @tracydeonn.bsky.social. 2/3 finished #booksky

AOC: We need to be talking about ICE agents and the cowardly policy of covering their faces — and, in many cases, their identification… The idea that we’re going to allow a paramilitary force to bloom, one that isn’t accountable to the Constitution… we’ve got another thing coming.

I'm only 150 pages into Bloodmarked and I've already rage quit twice in less than 24 hours. Wtf, @tracydeonn.bsky.social? How many times is my girl Bree gonna have the rug pulled out from under her? Someone tell me it gets better and people pay. #booksky

Legendborn by @tracydeonn.bsky.social- my 1st 5⭐ book of the year. Magic, romance, mystery, historical reckoning. Hint of a shadow daddy... Cannot recommend enough. #booksky

The Wind Weaver by Julie Johnson. 4/5 ⭐. Wish we saw more character growth for Rhya and Penn, but I'd die for most of the side characters. Angsty slow-burn. Stubborn FMC & MMC. Will be picking up book 2 when it's released. #booksky #romantasy

Next up: Legendborn by @tracydeonn.bsky.social along with the playlist she made for it on Spotify. So excited to finally start this series! #booksky

"Rhya." His voice is very nearly a caress. "Some grief is too heavy to carry alone. Let go of it. Give it to me. I will carry it for you."

I'd been waffling between books until I received The Wind Weaver by Julie Johnson. Cracked her open and was hooked within the first 2 chapters. I've maintained a healthy pace of about 65 pages a day. Thank goodness, because the reading rut was becoming very real. #booksky
