Time once again for the department white elephant. For the past two years I’ve done crafts thinking everyone was artsy.
They are not. People saw it as another thing on their to do list.
So this year I got a mini grocery basket but I can’t tell if it’s better to add snacks or just a bottle of wine.

Time once again for the department white elephant. For the past two years I’ve done crafts thinking everyone was artsy.

We’re not Italian but my mom was taught the recipe by an old lady who said you let the lasagna sit for 24 hours because that’s how long an Italian man should be able to make love.

it fascinates me how most everyone in the U.S. does turkey for Thanksgiving, but we are all over the map as to what we eat for Christmas (as is proper for a hugely diverse nation).

Does anyone else who grew up poor, forget you can just buy new things? Like pillows do not have to be Target dorm essentials or cost thousands of dollars? You are allowed to buy things which will make your life markedly better.
