The cats tower we had was starting to look a bit tatty and small (Gus is a very large cat, but it was a bit small for Ari too and she's fairly slight) so we got a new one and once Gus worked out how to get in the basket bit he clearly decided that's where he lives now.

Months ago I got this micro version of the Lego gingerbread house in a charity shop and I built it last night. It's really great, and I'm rather inclined to see if I can make a bit more of a micro gingerbread village to go with it.

Ok, so you know last night when I was pondering a fourth pair of custom glitter Converse? I am still pondering them, with the options being pale gold, pale pink, dark silver or silver (either all one colour or possibly with white glitter tongues)

The recipe isn't on her website, but this is Nigella's version. The basic ingredients are always the same but quantities vary a bit between recipes.

Gus, on the other hand, is absolutely livid. What you can't see here is a couple of seconds after I finished filming this he went BAPBAPBAP furiously on the track, which seems to be more of an issue than the train itself.

I have finished building my MoC Lego Christmas Train (honestly, bar some colour changes and some tweaks to the wheels necessitated by having older train parts it is basically the same as the set released this year). Aristotle is a bit bemused by it.

While it is true that I've been having a bit of an art block I did actually draw two new #DragPortraits last week at the request of @missmarshamallow.bsky.social - of herself and Amy LaQueefa and now that they've been received (Amy didn't know Marsha had asked me) here they are for all to see.

I have been very easily distracted this week but I have actually managed to do some drawing tonight even if I haven't done the colours. Getting inks I'm happy with is a win given the last few days though.

If I ever come into vast amounts of money I shall go and buy some Beryl Cook, Mary Blair or Eyvind Earle original art. But i mean *vast* amounts of money, because this background art (and cel overlay) from Sleeping Beauty is a snip at $35,850. Mind you, it is over two foot wide as well.

Yes I know it's only the middle of November but it's never too early for mince pies, especially when I am so fucking good at making them (no false modesty when it comes to mince pies). Aristotle is absolutely fuming that she's not allowed any though.

Gus is very pleased by the fact the heating is coming on in the evening because it means the Idiot Box is perfectly placed by the radiator on the landing.

I know get annoyed that mainstream superhero comics far too often have male characters in skintight lycra with absolutely no discernible crotch bulge, but even I think these chaps from the upcoming Batman Beyond/Static comic need to learn about dance belts or something.

I think i probably need a clear out of the nail polish draw. I know there are some here that are probably past their usage date and a few I bought and almost certainly will never wear again.
