6 hours driving yesterday and 6 hours today is fine, relaxing even, but my ageing body’s reaction to trying to go to bed after midnight is killing me. I got in at 1am last night, got to sleep at 2:30, woke at 6. I managed to get a nap this afternoon but achieved nothing else today at all.

It’s mostly so I don’t end up with weeks where I have to drive 1500 miles for £800 before expenses anymore.

This week I fucked up and yesterday’s two gigs in Leicester were too far for my health to do unless I had a full day of recovery, but now I have to drive to Newcastle and back this evening
