#OnThisDay in 2005, the Huygens lander touched down on Saturn's largest moon Titan. Titan has a thick atmosphere of methane and lakes of liquid hydrocarbons, so Huygens was designed to allow for a landing on either solid ground or an ocean, eventually coming to rest on a dry, lakebed-like landscape.

Hey loves - so the 500th episode of Gone Medieval is fast upon us, and Matt and I are trying to answer questions from listeners to celebrate. So if there's something you want us to cover (a fav subject, a tangential vibe??) HMU and we'll try to include it in our ep which drops on 17 February.

What is the collective noun for a group of influencers? 🤔 An album? A montage?

Hello Bluesky 👋 I'm working on some screenwriting projects, and would love to make some contacts/friends who also do the same 😀 I've made it a goal to get some scripts, series bibles and pilots written this year, so would love to learn and get some feedback! Get in touch if you'd like to talk :)

Bluesky friends! I'm planning a trip to Los Angeles (probably early next year) - just wondering if anyone has any recommendations of things to do, places to go, restaurants to try, food/drink to sample? I'd love to see Griffith Observatory, and maybe do some hiking/trails #LosAngeles #LA #California

Science should be there to inspire and bring joy. I've got some ideas I'm looking to explore science-wise, but worried about funding. Here's hoping things work out for everyone in science 🔭🧪🤞
I do science because it brings me joy, despite everything, and because it can bring others joy. What else is planetary science for, except to share the kind of knowledge that makes people excited to learn?
