Centrist half-pints kiss up to neo-Nazis, and slag off good people for not being loyal enough. So vulnerable, hopeful people - who outnumber the fascists anyway - will give up, accept the loss, avoid the election and go do what they can to survive, for themselves, their family and their community
i can't believe it's 2025 and we still have to make this point. why would anyone who wants fascism go for the facism-lite if the full-fat, all sugar, full violence version is right there??
turns out when you legitimate a taste for bigotry people gravitate to the parties that serve it as an entree rather than as a garnish

James Bond’s death in No Time to Die is causing a nightmare for the next film. Writers are stuck because Bond “was blown to pieces.”

Anthony Horowitz, author of three 007 novels, says:

“You can't have him wake up in shower and saying it was all a dream."

Will it be the renewable basis for the modern world OR the machine that puts glue on pizza and drives people to insanity and self harm?

Hmmmmmmm
A fun question. In 5 years time, what looks better? The US’s enormous bet & capex on AI? Or China’s equally enormous bet and capex on renewables?

ICE going from a rather niche federal agency to being better-funded than most countries’ militaries gives the Executive Branch a huge, ready-made and highly centralized secret police force, and it’s hard to imagine it won’t be massively employed against citizen targets of the government eventually.
