Gimenez: "We've been warning the administration about the enforcement that's been going on. We thought there should've been a course correction a long time ago, and now I guess it's gonna be forced on us by the Democrats. We should've been focusing on criminals and gang members, not grandmothers."

The fact that the White House is talking about "de-escalation" means nothing if its orders to ICE haven’t changed. And even if those orders *do* change, these systems now have a logic of their own.

A visit to the NM History Museum documents exactly how the New Mexicans viewed the brutal invasion of the North Americans, and how they understood it was motivated: by a desire to expand slavery, which Mexico had outlawed, and to steal land. This isn't "woke," it's actual history.
This Day in Labor History: February 2, 1848. The United States and Mexico signed the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo, ending the war the U.S. launched against Mexico to steal land and extend slavery. Let's talk about how this also led to the widespread theft of the land grants from New Mexicans!!!

You cannot ask Grok for comment on X. You cannot ask AI Overview or Gemini for comment on Google. And it's not because of some stochastic parrot critique, it's even simpler than that: you are looking at a gussied up search result.

Love paying some of the highest taxes in the country to get some of the worst run public services, which will now cost more due to the credit downgrade.

But at least the premier’s buddies got high paying jobs and sole sourced government contracts.
