Bob Castellini and son Phil have run the Reds for 20 years. In that time, the Reds have not won a postseason series. Have not won a postseason game at home. Have finished 3rd, 4th or 5th in the five-team division 18 times. The Reds haven't finished 1st or 2nd in the division for 13 years.

Said Francona: "I knew he was going to be a little sore. He is ok. He’s going to go hit in the cage. My guess is he’ll be available off the bench tonight and probably ready to play tomorrow.”

Congratulations to Marty Brennaman. The former Reds radio icon will be getting a statue of his likeness outside of GABP. The club scheduled the unveiling for Sept. 6. It will be created by local artist Tom Tsuchiya and placed near the Reds front office building facing Joe Nuxhall Way.
