Just missed once again.
While style is most obviously conveyed through fashion, it can also come across in swagger, a gesture and other forms of self-expression. Over the last year, these individuals captured our attention and shaped notions of style in 2025. See the full list. nyti.ms/4rJf4mN

Good stuff from Francona I’ll post later. Basically said he took responsibility for not keeping Elly fresher. Be said the Reds, like 29 other teams, would love Schwarber but didn’t elaborate leaving that to Schwarber. Freddie Benavides spent time with Sal Stewart last week

Apologies for the video orientation, but… Reds manager Terry Francona finished his media session and saw his former coach and current Royals manager Matt Quatraro doing his availability

Congratulations to Louisville Bats manager Pat Kelly for winning the Mike Coolbaugh Award for " an individual who has shown outstanding baseball work ethic, knowledge of the game and skill in mentoring young players on the field." Nobody deserves it more than PK!

Unsurprisingly, Reds 3B Ke’Bryan Hayes won his second Gold Glove. He’s first Red to win a Gold Glove since Tucker Barnhart in 2020. Last Reds infielder to win was Brandon Phillips in 2013.

Spencer Steer didn’t win the NL Gold Glove, which went to Matt Olson. Pretty impressive for Steer to be a finalist in his first full year at the position.

Blue Jays smash Dodger mystique with home run binge to take World Series Game 1
Dodger starting pitching came into Friday with an impeccable record. The Blue Jays quickly marred that as they coasted to an 11-4 win.

I find G.O.A.T. talk to be way overdone. If someone is the Greatest, they are No. 1. Nobody else can be. It's nearly impossible to actually be the greatest ever at one thing.

But hell, if Shohei Ohtani isn't the greatest baseball player ever. I don't think I can accept any argument against it.

Jordyn Pagán, wife of Reds closer Emilio Pagán, bought an inflatable cockroach after Molly Lux, Gavin’s wife, heard Jeff Brantley call the Reds cockroaches because they just kept surviving in the playoff race. Kids are going to get these and the wives are making t-shirts too

Reds fall 4-2 to Brewers. If the Marlins get 3 more outs against the Mets without allowing 4 runs, Reds go to LA. If the Mets come back, Reds go home.

Reds down to their final 3 outs, trail 4-2. Make that 2 outs. Mets down to their final 3 outs, as they're still in the bottom of the 8th in Miami
