Trump is a foul mouthed, disgusting, sexist pig but what are we to conclude about Melania?
If my husband spoke once to a woman the way Trump does I’d be having severe words & if he continued I just couldn’t stay.
She may think a poised silence is enough to distance herself but it isn’t good enough.

I wish we lived in a land where if journalists heard the president call one of their colleges "piggy" or suggest another of their colleagues, who was butchered for what he wrote, in some way had it coming, they would close their laptops, leave as soon as possible, and ask to be reassigned.

Sometimes, a front page can sum up quite a lot that’s wrong with the world. Including the paper itself which has been so complicit in getting us to a place where children born to refugees could be deported, Trump celebrates despotic wealth and Boris Johnson’s sister moans about not being rich. Ugh.

I don’t expect decency from Trump so he never disappoints me, but any journalist who sees him demean & insult a colleague then carry on, YOU’RE disappointing.

You’re all journalists & all human. Stand together, stand the fuck up & walk away! End the press conference & make him look ridiculous.

I mean, look, I'm not a reporter, so who am I to talk?

But on a day where the president both just called a woman reporter "Piggy" and is celebrating someone who had people bone saw apart one of my colleagues, I might just be a little ready to defend my colleagues and profession.

But that's just me

Peddling unverified and racist statistics on national TV is dangerous and we must call it out.

TRUMP: It's not the question that I mind. It's your attitude. I think you're a terrible reporter. It's the way you ask these questions. You start off with a man who's highly respected asking him an insubordinate question
