I keep it simple - sugar, water, cranberries, orange peel (ideally in a few long strips so I can pull it out at the end, but I've given up and zested before as well).
(Don't worry, no lasting damage and it was not even my worst eye-related thanksgiving incident!)

The time a particularly sturdy cranberry popped while I was stirring and shot hot sugar syrup at my eye would beg to differ (I've also never got fresh to set near as nice as canned. I both make fresh and pop open a can every year because I Love Cranberry Sauce)

PEOPLE PUT PINEAPPLES IN SO MANY THINGS THAT DO NOT NEED NOR INDICATE THAT PINEAPPLES ARE INVOLVED AND I DO NOT UNDERSTAND IT!!!

Yeah, it looks like for some people the "smart features" that have existed well before Gemini came about got flipped back on when people had turned them off, so people freaked out about it.
