We've had a toaster oven in the past and ultimately found they are not great at making toast.

We nearly went for a toaster that had reviews warning of it doing this, because it had a window that you could see the toasting as it happened for Perfect Toast Level Determination, but ultimately it was a very long one slot that would simply not fit on the counter in a way that allowed for that

one was alternately not toasting at all/burning bread, and the one we got to replace that one was, technically, toasting, in spots, but we decided this was not acceptable and returned it in favor of New Toaster That Works

To elaborate:

- I know it makes me sound like a child, but broccoli tastes bad and has a worse texture! It is an unpleasant vegetable and there should be less of it out there!!!

- It was a slog, it really was. I want the 2 hours of my life back.

- I may possibly just not enjoy her music.
