Yesterday, in my little Maine town, at my retail job, I got talking with a customer, who I had helped a few weeks earlier. Our conversation turned to where we were from, and then I asked what he did (he is probably pushing 90).. he humbly admitted that he had been a college professor. At Wellesley.
