I have to express my love for both of Yama Wayama’s series. Both “Let’s Go Karaoke!” and “Captivated, by You” were charmingly hilarious. The relationships are so unique and intimate, but not quite romantic. Despite each series being only 4-5 episodes, I was endeared and attached to every character.

Ruri Rocks made me cry this week! So many parents mean well when they imagine a future for their kids that they think means stability, when it’s really a disinterest in what makes their child happy and lack of effort to know them.

I was not expecting a tragic backstory to open this weeks episode. I feel like we already know more about Shouko than a lot of our cast!
Seeing her lock her passion for geology away after not receiving the nurturing it deserved hit especially close to home.
