Whenever Lemon says something like "you just wanted to [X]," my most common response is "not just!"

We have friends that have a Christmas Eve open house every year, and I'm so thankful they do it because I don't have to.

But we also make sure that, some time in January, we take them out for a nice dinner, our treat, because they do NUMBERS at that.

Ohio State hasn't really been running anything particularly tricksy on offense or defense all year - they've had a few "throw back" returns in ST.

I suspect they'll slightly tweak a few blocking assignments/constraint plays, but that's par for the course for the season.
December 3, 2025 at 6:27 PM
They're so used to doing what they want and nobody calling them on their bullshit "logic" that they don't even try to make it believable any more.
December 3, 2025 at 4:30 PM
BaldING, as in "in the process of."

When Lemon gives the signal, I'll shave my head and show the world all the weird dents and scars I've left on this noggin.

MAKE THE OUTFIELDS BIGGER AND DEEPER!

If they backed the fences up 10-15 feet all the way around (exceptions for Wrigley and Fenway, because they're old and cool, as per MLB's usual), there'd be a lot more balls falling in, gaps would be larger, etc.

I didn't count O'Brien, because he was only there for like two weeks, but yeah.

/OSU hires Jim Caldwell to replace Hartline
//Caldwell's offenses average 46.5 points per game, torching the country
///Guynemer pulls hair out
December 3, 2025 at 3:55 PM
Hartline to USF,
Kelly went to the NFL but had been previously,
Wilson went to Tulsa,
Day got the OSU job,
So back to Warriner(Minn OL/Run Game Co) and Beck(Texas QB/OC) leaving after 2016 who didn't.
December 3, 2025 at 3:53 PM
Perfect.

"Hey man, fuck you" /does the friendly thing anyway.

Like LSU fans yelling Tigah Bait at me while thrusting seven bowls of sauce piquant/gumbo/jambalaya and five beers into my hand at the same time
December 3, 2025 at 2:48 PM
Oh, shit, today's Wednesday?

That explains a lot - I thought today was just Tuesday.
December 3, 2025 at 2:47 PM
I've heard the same thing about children, only it takes a lot longer for them to settle down😆

What a beautiful pup - hope the needle-teeth don't get you too much.
December 3, 2025 at 2:18 PM
At least it isn't your day off anymore?
December 3, 2025 at 2:17 PM
I'm picturing him giving a little weird chuckle and a "boy, you're gonna enjoy this one" as he signed it
December 3, 2025 at 2:08 PM
I am somewhat surprised that we didn't see some OSU fans suggesting that Tate and Smith rest up one more week, to make sure they were really healthy for the postseason.

Had OSU won in 2024 against UM, I think we'd have seen some of that.
December 2, 2025 at 4:47 PM
Yeah, but you say that every week.
December 2, 2025 at 3:16 PM
Seems unlikely. Win and they're the 1 seed, lose and they're probably the 2/3 seed.

But they're not likely to get bumped out of the top 4, and those byes are no longer reserved for conference champs.
December 2, 2025 at 3:15 PM
Indiana is a very good ballclub, for sure, and could definitely derail that.
December 2, 2025 at 3:06 PM
Listen, the current guy has a ring from last year and is the favorite to get one this year, and the biggest "scandal" he has is wanting to beat the shit out of Lou Holtz.

And really, you can't blame him for that.
December 2, 2025 at 2:33 PM
Apparently, growing up his family were big UK fans, like had season tickets and everything.
December 2, 2025 at 2:17 PM
He doesn't win enough to get away with that shit here, not as a head coach.

Urbz would've definitely hired him as an OC, though.
December 2, 2025 at 2:01 PM
I mean, I make jokes about the Olentangy being the "Old 'n' Dingy," but that's local yokel humor
December 2, 2025 at 4:50 AM
That number doesn't seem likely to me. He signed the contract before 2021, so they killed the last seven years of it. If he was making between $10.7 and $13.5 and they settled there, they'd have just paid the rest of the contract.

Ryan Day was at $10 million in 2024.

When Jules was very young, Lemon bought him a bow tie.
