Had to lock in there for a bit but I got it. I had troubles figuring out get the rotation of the player to face the enemy when In battle instead of based on the camera and still retaining the right direction but we got it. #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart #rpg #lowpoly #turnbased #b3d

Since l decided to learn #godot i'm going to take it once piece at a time. Today I did collisions. I really like how the system works compared to unity. So far I see how much better godot is for #2d games #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart

Decided to fix this ladder code stuff. Now the player smoothly goes to the top position of the ladder. Also add some more readability to triggers. When the player toggles one on/off it just changes color to show something is happening #gamedev #indiedev #lowpoly #RPG #pixelart

Good this ladder stuff is bugging me, anyway I added a little trigger for platforms for the player to toggle on and off. Thinking about vertical level design. Lets see how high and low we can go with this #gamedev #indiedev #pixelart #b3d #lowpoly #leveldesign #gamedesign #TurnBasedThursday

Still not happy with how the ladder code works so far. But it kind of works and can use it to help build out levels some more and flesh out ideas at lease. Can always improve it later. Just make the thing #gamedev #indiedev #lowpoly #b3d #pixelart #leveldesign

Working on the movement still and all the different states. Current bug is once you wall jump once and there is a wall as you are in the wall jump the player gets stuck lol...#gamedev #indiedev #b3d #lowpoly #pixelart #programming

I spent the weekend learning a new way on how to do state machines. This new way in code is a lot more to code but way more clean and now want to switch over the old battle system into this new way which will be so much better! #gamedev #indiedev #lowpoly #programming #pixelart #indiegamedev #b3d
