Testing the efficacy of railguns. FOR SCIENCE #gamedev
Ostranauts ship design, approximating the silhouette of a tophat, with 6 railguns mounted on the bow, flanked by 2 PDCs. Sensor clusters project out from either side, along with 18 RCS thrusters symmetrically placed along sides. The docking ring is mounted on the aft. Inside, the ship is spartan. Bare essentials for power, HVAC, RCS, and a NAV station buried near the core of the ship. A dead body in skivvies floats outside the ship near the airlock. Leftovers from an earlier "repel boarders with a shotgun" test.

Hey hey! I recently did a whole bunch of portraits for #dwarffortress, but a lot of people deemed them a bit too silly, or questioned why the unicorn looked the way it did.

I've spent the last weeks updating them all to be more realistic and 'neutral' in tone, check out some of my neat animals.

A positive Steam review of Ostranauts: Start with Project Zomboid. Replace the zombies with a leaky spaceship and poverty. Add some dwarf fortress back-story generation, text based rpg events, and relationships. Then top it off with some Kerbal Space Program for flight controls and you are starting to get an idea of what Ostranauts feels like. I'm hooked
