Anyone hitting the Lorwyn Spotlight event in Toronto Feb 6-8? I was thinking of a trip home around then anyway and it's a good hook to hang it on! Getting excited to see friends and local magic friends and maybe wider Canadian magic folk fiending for a big one outside the US!

Excited to dig into this one. I don’t think modern folks get how overprinted this was. Think of how fidget spinners were everywhere and not selling as the trend died down 5ish years ago. I remember a FLORIST selling packs, and no one wanted them.
Fallen Empires was an abject disaster that should’ve killed Magic dead. 31 years have passed. We're all still here.

Haven’t played too much Avatar but current draft deck assembled all of these on the field at once. EOT Earthbound 2 twice and draw 4 felt so nice

Some time in 94 my friend showed me his bros cards at school. I remember a horned monster, prob burrowing. The wildest thing hooked me though - the glyphs from legends. Terrible cycle of wall tricks, but the first cycle I saw and the idea of all the colours approaching the same thing differently 🤯🤯🤯

A few days after my bodybuilding show and I’m feeling… what’s the opposite of shame - pride? Less shame? It’s very good. Between/after being on stage in the morning I had a few comments from folks backstage that shook me - one saying I could be asked to not wear glasses, another saying I shouldn’t

I did 2 photoshoots this week to document where my body is at before my bodybuilding competition this weekend. I’ve been so stressed about not achieving “enough” that I haven’t been able to enjoy being at my “peak.” Got the first set last night and haven’t even dug deep but I’m blown away

I thought my parents were coming to my first bodybuilding show next weekend but I sent the info yesterday and they said they’re not sure. I truly just want one person to actually show up for me, and I don’t really just mean next weekend, I mean ever. I’m so tired.

Just gotta gas myself up bc between a relationship failure to launch, an abusive doctor acting like I don’t deserve care, and a bodybuilding show in 2 weeks where I will be fine but just don’t have the discipline required for extreme success - I’m really stunlocked this week…

Yesterday on Thanksgiving my doctor sent over an order for a drug test she wants done within 48 hours, and had her office call (again on the holiday) to make sure I know to do it. She’s trying to catch me smoking weed so she can take my vyvanse away. I have not lied to her, I do smoke weed.
