He/him. Hi! I love to paint, draw, and design stuff (like Axebane's Deck of Many Dungeons). My art is 100% human-made! Addicted to popcorn. Reposts art. Moved by poetry, and dazzled by dance. #painting #poetry #comics Tip jar: https://ko-fi.com/axebane
if I do this, I'll need play-testers, and I would send you free cards for that so you don't have to do print-and-play or anything! if that sounds fun, I'll keep you in mind, and then I'll let you know if I do follow-through and have a playtest!! It would include solo and two player options! :D

hell yeah, thank you Ash! and the TCG I've been thinking of lately would be much different than most TCGs! There isn't any battles or anything, so it would be about starting paintings, deciding how long to develop them, and selling them. It would be a physical print-on-demand game at TheGameCrafter!

well I say "my first game" but really I mean my first publicly released game, I've been making board games and card games for fun since I was like 12 years old, and several of them are actually finished games that friends/family played! (but of course none of them were good enough to publish, LOL!)

also, I was gonna add that I haven't had any success yet, (although I did sell one small painting to my mom for $20!) but that's not really true I guess, because I have unlocked a fierceness and determination with the painting process itself, and that is a type of success :D

I just gotta keep goin

and honestly.. the doubt became so strong it was almost overwhelming, and I found a kind of courage, because if the chances are slim, then why not just go for it 100%, no matter the outcome!?

I'm still afraid I wont be able to sell enough art, but I'm nearly fearless now with the painting itself 🎨🖌️

but I also had been watching a lot of artist's interviews, mostly of artists who had been in studios for decades in New York, and I started to long to have a studio and make paintings that were more personal

and I started to realize that I always wanted to do that, I just still had so much doubt

oh I'm gonna cry, (good tears, haha!) thank you !!

I think finishing my comic books gave me a confidence boost, but then I hit a low point in my life and needed something to soothe myself, (comics are incredible, but also mentally exhausting) and I knew just spreading pigment around would help

omg I forgot the link, LOL!

my paintings are available in my ko-fi shop: ko-fi.com/axebane/shop

(and I might also auction a few on ebay sometime, which will be your chance to get one DIRT CHEAP, and for me to CRY, but I might try anyway, LOL!)
Visit Axebane's Shop!
I've opened a shop. Come take a look!
