The discrepancy of steaminess between #Hades and #Hades2

A soft coloured illustration of a decaying dead Rapunzel letting down her hair from the balcony of a tall tower, and a ghost of a slightly tattered man missing an arm floats up and gently touches her on the cheek. There is a sentence written in Hebrew on the balcony: "רוח רפאים רומנטי רודף את רפונזל הרקובה". It translates to "A romantic ghost haunts rotting Rapunzel", but in the original Hebrew all the words (apart from prepositions) start with the same letter, "Resh". It was part of a series of similarly alliterative illustrations I did way back when, following the letters of the Hebrew alphabet.

That time I reimagined London boroughs as #Pokemon
Six colourful doodles of creatures with a borough name above each: a derpy red fish balancing on its tail fin (Haringey), a loopy-eyed teal eel with electricity going through it (Ealing), a fluffy little pink lamb (Lambeth), a yellowy barn owl with big red eyes (Barnet), a very droopy cocker spaniel, its back half body is a slug (Hounslow), and an angry purple ibex with very curly horns (Bexley). Six colourful doodles of creatures with a borough name above each: a scheming marabou-like stork (Southwark), a hammerhead shark riding a saddled chonky bulgy-eyed pig (Hammersmith & Fulham), a sickly green slug/worm with red markings and what looks like spaghetti coming off the top of its head (Greenwich)(I don't remember my reasoning for some of these), an excited akita and a tired bulldog that seem to have merged into one dog with two heads and two tails (Barking & Dagenham), a black and purple bird that looks like a cross between a crow and a baby dinosaur (Croydon), and a seated little blue dragon with a seahorse head and translucent teal fins (Merton).

The Crab Museum in Margate is worth the trip alone. I swear there's crab-related info and displays there as well, but so much more.

3 hours to go till #Hades2!!
ngl, I've played the heck out of the early access already, but I stopped a couple of updates ago to leave myself some surprises.
So just before I go see how this stunner ended up actually looking, here's my version of Narcissus (from--holy shit, more than a year ago).

We got an advance copy of Crystal Heart!! This book is THICC y'all. And SO beautifully printed, I'm delighted (and relieved) to see how well our comic made the transition from screen to print.

My left arm holding (with some difficulty) a softcover copy of Crystal Heart. It's slightly tilted so you can see its spine as well, with the Crystal Heart and Dark Horse logos and a cute little row of colourful dice. The book randomly opened to page 228-229, which are actually a bit of spoilery, so don't look too intensely! There's a big angry turtle and a big purple BOOM. The back cover. It has a piece of scenery with some strange animals from the comic, 3 paragraphs of text, and a collection of little spot art pieces of dice and crystals. The text reads: IN A WORLD WHERE EVERYONE’S HEART IS MADE OF STONE, special agents of an organization called Syn replace their own hearts with mysterious Crystals that grant them unique powers and team up to unearth more of these valuable artifacts around the world. One such team is on course to unearth much more: secrets within their own ranks, as well as the mystery behind the Crystals themselves. Spent the morning playing Divinity Original Sin: The Board Game at the Arcanist Tavern in Shoreditch. The game is wonderful, and simple to play despite the daunting size of its box. And the Tavern is such a lovely game cafe/bar! London-based tabletop gamer friends, check it out: arcaniststavern.uk

Finished @tallstorygames.bsky.social's Lucy Dreaming, and I cannot recommend it warmly enough to fans of classic point & click adventures!

With a kid protagonist I was worried the game would be a bit childish, but how wrong I was. >
